Take a tasting tour of Campbeltown with Dan Flett and Scott Dickson to discover the role the Scottish region played in the history of scotch whisky. Hear about Robert Burns love for a local ‘wee lassie’ called Mary from the region, her name appearing on a plaque at the distillery, before moving on to a range of malts from Scotland’s most innovative and unique distillery in Loch Lomond.
About your instructors:
Daniel Flett is a WSET L3 qualified sales manager for Loch Lomond Group and a big whisky fan. Having worked with some of Scotland and Japan’s biggest whisky brands over the past 11 years he’s found his home selling whisky from Loch Lomond and Glen Scotia, telling the story of Scotland’s least known region, Campbeltown.
Scott Dickson is a whisky lover with over 16 years in the spirits business working in sales and then marketing predominantly working on single malts. For the last 6 years, Scott has been managing the Loch Lomond brand.
