In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our Herbert Parkinson partners to create your own cushion covering for a 30cm x 30cm duck-filled cushion pad from a selection of Herbert Parkinson's pre-cut fabrics, including the new Highgrove ollection from Sanderson.

While the expert machinists set to work on creating your cushion cover, enjoy refreshments and hear an engaging presentation from a Partner, and brand ambassador, about the skilled textile factory Herbert Parkinson and its evolution over 90 years.

We brought the Herbert Parkinson textile factory in Darwen, Lancashire, into the John Lewis Partnership in 1953, and ever since it’s been a thriving example of UK design, quality and craftsmanship, with Partners investing pride back into the business they own.

Tickets are £10 and include your filled cushion and personal cushion covering. You'll be welcomed by our host with a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival (Non alcoholic alternatives will be available).

Joining Instructions

Please arrive at the store at least 10 minutes before the start of the session and make your way to the meeting place, as detailed in your confirmation email. Please bring your ticket with you, either printed or on your phone.
